Pete Hyde- First Trumpet We are fortunate to have such an accomplished musician leading the trumpet section. I call Pete the doctor in the group because he can hear the slightest note being played out of tune or a rhythm out of sync with the rest of the band. Pete has the most experience playing with some of the greatest Big band leaders. Pete also played Trumpet and Piccolo Trumpet in the original Broadway production of Les Miserables.
